Poem for Pebbles

Being her momma
brings out the mother bear in me.
Watching her struggles
makes me angry when they don't see
the sweet spirit inside her
that has to fight constantly,
to understand herself, the world,
to be all that she can be.

So, please don't try to change her.
Don't ever say to me
that she's "too this,"
that we're "too that."
Just love her. Unconditionally.

Awww your love for her oozes from this. One day she’ll love it, if she doesn’t already.
