I’ve actually been there. In fact I’ve been all through the US. It is amazing.

It truly is. Sorry I can’t say I’ve visited Canada. Well, I suppose I could say it, but it wouldn’t be true, so I won’t. Maybe someday.

If you ever get the chance I’d recommend British Columbia and or Jasper/Banff Alberta!

I know, but in some places, the smell…
Also, I didn’t particularly like standing on top of the largest land supervolcano in the world

Hah! No kidding! Pebbles kept asking what the nasty smell was. I told her it was boiled eggs. She wasn’t impressed. And then there was the supervolcano thing. Pebbles went through a traumatic period of several months last year after we watched a TV special about Yellowstone. She freaked out at the thought of ever going there. Thank goodness she was over it by the time we actually went.

On our way back from Yellowstone, our tour guide played this fictional movie that showed what it would be like when Yellowstone next erupts. It wasn’t pretty. Also, yellowstone is said to erupt once about every 60000 years, and the last time it erupted was over 68000 years ago, but I went anyway.

Thank goodness Pebbles didn’t see that film! We’d never have convinced her to go! Kinda scary to think that Yellowstone is 8,000 years overdue for an eruption.
